14、energyandnature-basedandtechnology-basedsolutionsintheregion.CorporatesinSEAareincreasinglytakingactionondecarbonisationduetovariousreasonsincludingincreasingjurisdictionalandinternationalpressures.UnpackingNetZero:Corporatecommitmentsandambitionsandwhattheymean.Commitmentsthatcorporatesarechoosingt
15、ofollowincludeuNetZeronoruCarbonneutra,andtakingactionsbeyondtheirNetZerocommitments.Thispaperexploresthedifferencesbetweentheseanditsnuances,andthestepsthatcompaniescantaketoReduce,ReplaceanduRemoveorAvoidcarbonemissions.Reduceinvolvesthemitigationofemissionsthroughacompanysownoperations,whichshouldbethefirstandprimarysteptakenbyanentitytodecarbonise.Replacesourcesofemissionsandenergyfromfossilfuelswithgreeneralternativessuchasrenewableenergy.ThisiscrucialtoreducingScope2emissions.Removeoravoidcarbon-thisisal
