4、ventriedtoearnmoneyasapeddler.Hewentfromhousetohousesellingthings.Manytimeshesleptwhereverhecould.Soonhewasbeginningtolosehope.HedecidedtoleaveNewYork.Hestartedtowalknorth.Afteratime,hearrivedintheBronx,thenorthernpartofNewYorkCity.Hisfeetburnedwithpain.Andhewashungry.RAYFREEMAN:Ihadnoteatenathingsi
