4、ceivingandunderstanding,applyingandpracticing,transferringandcreating.OnlyweteachersowntheBigIdeacanWeachieveaneffectiveclasswhichfosterstudents,corecompetences.NowWelookatthediscourseanalysisundertheBigIdea.DiscourseAnalysisNowlookatthestructureofthisunitfirst.Itrytoanswer3questions:what,whyandhow.

5、Asforwhat,thethemeofthisunitisHumanandself.Thetopicofthisunitislearning.Asforwhy,theaimofthisunitistohelpstudentsformcorrectoutlookonlearningandstrivetobeanactivelifelonglearner.AndthevalueorientationofthisunitisWillingtoLeam,GoodatLearningandLifelongLeaming,Thelastpointishow,thisunitfocusesonthetop
