8、dedtoplaywiththeNegroBaseballLeague.TheNegroLeagueteamswerestartedintheNineteen-Twentiestogiveblackpeopleaplacetoplaybaseball.ManyofthebestbaseballplayersintheUnitedStatesplayedintheNegroLeaguesbeforewhiteprofessionalteamsbeganacceptingblackplayers.Theskillsandrecordsofblackballplayerswereasgoodasma

9、jorleaguewhiteplayers.ItwasahardlifeforNegroLeagueplayers.Theytooklongtripsbybus.Theychangedclothesinfarmhousesandsharedbathwaterwithteammates.Manyeatingplacesdidnotservefoodtoblacks.Theyhadtoeatoutsideorontheroad.Andtheywerenotpermittedtosleepathotelsforwhites.Manyplayerssleptonthebus.VOICETWO:Jack
