11、nectedcars.However,theusecasesforadvanceddrivingofeV2X,specifiedinTR22.886,includevariousscenariosincludingmedia,suchasvideoandsensordata.Althoughmoreadvancedtransmissioncapabilitiesarerequired,mediacanovercomethelimitationsofcodedmessagesthatmightnotbeabletodescribearbitrarysituationsontheroad,andc
12、anbeamoreintuitivesourceofinformationforthedecisionofdriverorartificialintelligence,e.g.,byprovidingvisualinformationthatcannotbeprovidedbytheonboardcamerasorsensorsofvehicleswithlimitedcoverageoraccuracy.Strongtolerancetothevarianceofweatherisanotheradvantageofmedia-basedV2Xthatcanexploitthepoint-t
13、o-pointtransmissionormulticasting/broadcastingcapabilityof3GPPradioaccess.1 ScopeInthepresentdocument,media-relatedusecasesofV2XdescribedinTR22.886andIheirrequirementsinTS22.186areanalysedindetail,toclarifytheoperationofadvanceddrivingusingnetworkedvisualinformation.Therequiredproceduresformediacapt
